I grew up in a creative family as the oldest of three boys. I have always been interested in the visual arts but wasn't sure what was right for me. Painting took too long to for my liking. My first cameras were a Minolta X-7 and an SR-3. Soon I was taking pictures for a local paper on a regular basis then I moved up to the regional newspaper company that owned them. After I was married and started a family I segued into wedding photography and portraits of adults, children and pets. One of my biggest influences is my background in film. Before I began shooting the work you see on this site. For 2 years I was part of the crew filming some of the major motion pictures shot in New England. I also worked as the Studio Manager of a local rental house and production studio. Using my newspaper background I am adaptable, quick and able to catch moments that might otherwise get lost. My technical knowledge comes from my time making movies and other video productions. Most recently I have been collaborating with my brothers as the set photographer for their new comedy pilot shooting in Los Angeles.
I can be very accommodating, but I was a journalist so I can be very honest. I am not a salesman, so my packages are straight forward and simple. My goal is to give you a beautiful record of your experience.
